This privacy policy will explain how Zemberi UG (haftungsbeschränkt) uses personal data collected from your use of our jDay mobile app.
Data that you enter or import while using jDay is stored locally on your device. We do not send it to our servers. When you delete it from your device and Google's Auto Backup, it's gone.
To enable you to move your jDay data to a new device, we use Google's Auto Backup.
Google's Auto Backup preserves the backup of your jDay data by uploading it to your Google Drive—where it's protected by your Google Account credentials. Google treats this data as personal information per Google's Privacy Policy.
For technical details, you can check the official documentation.
Please note that there can be a significant time between backups (24+ hours). So, to make sure everything is backed up you might want to manually trigger backup on the old device, before switching to a new one. This can be done with Google's Drive app: Settings -> Backup and reset -> Back up now.
jDay integrates with Google Fit to enable you to import your Health and Fitness data.
This data is collected only if you enable Google Fit sync inside the jDay app by giving explicit permission. Imported data is stored locally on your device.
We use this data to provide you different app features, the same way as we do for manually entered data.
To stop auto-tracking you can revoke Google Fit sync permission at any time from jDay's settings screen.
